食の空間に人が集い、花を咲かせる。

「五感で感じる美味しい」をテーマに、「惣菜のまつおか」が立ち上げたレストランです。「惣菜のまつおか」といえば、デパ地下空間では異例の厨房併設スタイルにより、作りたてをその場で販売することで人気の惣菜屋さん。できたて、日本の旬の味、手間暇の良さを惣菜販売で表現してきた「まつおか」の精神を、レストランというかたちで表現しています。
その「まつおか別邸囲炉裏」のロゴデザインをはじめ、ショップカード、名刺、オープン記念招待状、封筒、Webサイト、撮影などを岩田デザイン事務所が手がけています。

Matsuoka Bettei IRORI

Where people gather in a culinary space to let conversation bloom

Based on the theme of "Deliciousness Experienced Through the Five Senses," this restaurant was established by Souzai no Matsuoka. Known for its unique "in-store kitchen" style within department store basements, Souzai no Matsuoka is a popular delicatessen that sells freshly prepared dishes on the spot. The restaurant embodies the same spirit—highlighting freshly made flavors, seasonal Japanese ingredients, and the beauty of artisanal preparation—now expressed through a full dining experience.
Iwata Design Studio was responsible for the comprehensive branding, including the logo design, shop cards, business cards, opening invitations, envelopes, website, and photography.

ロゴについて

About the Logo

ロゴマークは、四角形の囲炉裏を4人の「人」が囲み、ダイニング空間の「花」を作り上げています。無機質な線ではなく若干滲ませた線でロゴを構成し、和テイストの落款のような雰囲気も持たせています。

The logo mark depicts four "people" surrounding a square irori (hearth), coming together to create a "flower" within the dining space. Rather than using rigid, inorganic lines, the logo is composed of slightly blurred strokes, evoking the traditional feel of a Japanese rakkan (signature seal).
