渋滞緩和と貧困層の自立支援
人口過密による慢性的な交通渋滞に悩むバングラデシュ。JAPAXIは、デジタルテクノロジーを活用したバイクタクシーサービスの展開によって渋滞の緩和を図ると同時に、運転手の育成を通じて貧困層の経済的自立を支援することを目的としています。
資金がなくてもバイク免許を取得できるようサポートし、さらに商売道具となるバイクを貸与ではなく運転手自身が所有できる仕組みを整備。経済状況に左右されることなく職能を身につけ、自立へとつながる仕事とサービスの循環を生み出し ています。

JAPAXI
Alleviating Traffic Congestion and Empowering Economic Independence
Bangladesh faces chronic traffic congestion due to extreme overpopulation. JAPAXI aims to mitigate this issue through a digital-tech-driven motorcycle taxi service. Furthermore, the service is designed to support the economic self-reliance of the impoverished by providing professional driver training.
By assisting individuals in obtaining motorcycle licenses regardless of their initial capital, and by helping drivers eventually own their vehicles—rather than simply renting them—JAPAXI creates a sustainable framework for skill development and financial independence.
Iwata Design Studio is responsible for the design of the JAPAXI logo.

About the Logo Design
平安時代に発達したもっとも古い交通手段の一つ、牛車。その牛車にしばしば記されたのが、九曜紋と呼ばれる紋様でした。牛車からデジタル配車サービスへと至る長い交通の歴史を、九曜紋をモチーフに、デジタル感覚で換骨奪胎したデザインにしています。
The oxcart (Gisha) was one of the earliest forms of transportation developed during Japan’s Heian period. These carts were frequently adorned with the Kuyo-mon (a traditional nine-star crest). Our design reinterprets the long history of transportation—from the ancient oxcart to modern digital ride-hailing services—by reimagining the Kuyo-mon with a contemporary digital aesthetic.

Urban Neurons
9つの円、九曜は都市のさまざまな拠点であり、それらがJAPAXIの交通システムによってニューロンのように繋がれていきます。
The nine circles of the Kuyo-mon represent various urban hubs. Through JAPAXI’s transportation system, these hubs are interconnected like a network of neurons, facilitating the flow of the city.
