KS AG/HiLaRi

土から生まれる内壁施工

KS AG社が手がける内壁施工は土から生まれます。一つには、世界で唯一の土からできた天然塗料「HiLaRi」のプロデュースと、内壁塗装施工。単に天然素材から作るというだけでなく、商品の生産から廃棄まで、関わる全ての人々を危険に晒さないという思想に立ち、ドイツ緑の党の創始メンバーの一人、ハンス・ヴィリ・バブカさんが開発したソイルペイントです。
もう一つは、工事残土をマテリアルに当の建築物の内壁左官をする「ソイル左官」施工です。日本の左官職人を生かすとともに、建物が依って建つ大地を物語に変え、サステナブルな建築空間を作り上げています。
岩田デザイン事務所ではHiLaRiのパッケージデザイン、パッケージロゴ、カタログ、封筒、名刺などのデザインツール作成ほか、WEB制作、建築内観の撮影をしています。

Interior Walls Born from the Earth

KS AG’s interior wall construction begins with soil. One pillar of its work is the production of HiLaRi, the world’s only natural paint made entirely from earth, along with its application for interior finishes. More than simply using natural materials, HiLaRi is grounded in the principle that no one involved—from production to disposal—should be exposed to harm. It was developed by Hans-Willi Babka, a founding member of the German Green Party.
Another approach is “soil plastering,” in which excavated soil from the construction site itself is reused as material for interior plasterwork. This method both sustains Japan’s plastering craftsmanship and transforms the very ground on which a building stands into a narrative element, creating sustainable architectural spaces.
Iwata Design Studio developed HiLaRi’s package design as well as its package logo, catalog, envelopes, business cards, and other graphic tools.

Hand-Painting the Entire Package with the Paint Itself

HiLaRiの缶パッケージやカタログ、封筒自体をキャンバスと見立て、その全面を当のHiLaRiの塗料を使い、手描きでデザインしています。HiLaRi For Lifestyleのパッケージロゴもまた、「子どもが直に手で触れられるペンキ」というメッセージを、D.I.Y.を思わせる手描きのスタイルで表現しています。

The HiLaRi can, catalog, and envelopes are conceived as canvases, their entire surfaces hand-painted using HiLaRi itself. The package logo for HiLaRi For Lifestyle expresses the idea of “paint that children can touch directly,” rendered in a hand-drawn style that evokes DIY culture.

建築空間の撮影も

Photographing Architectural Spaces

KS AG社が手がけた内壁塗装の空間撮影も行っています。写真は、当の建物の工事残土を使い、佐官職人が仕上げたオフィスビル建築の空間。見事な陰影や質感をもった内壁となっています。

We also photographed interior spaces finished by KS AG. The images show an office building whose walls were plastered by artisans using soil excavated from the very site. The result is an interior surface rich in texture and nuanced shadow.
