引き算のデザイン
二十四節気や季節の節目に添った料理を、コース形式で提供する和食店。フードロスをできる限り出さない。そして、温かいものは温かく、冷たいものは冷たいままに―食材や料理の時間を見極め、最もよい状態で提供することを大切にしています。店舗は松のカウンターをメインに、料理と店主が引き立つよう、凛とした引き算の空間。
岩田デザイン事務所では、ロゴマークと名刺、ショップカードを制作しています。

A Design of Subtraction
A Japanese restaurant serving seasonal cuisine in a course format, inspired by the twenty-four seasonal divisions of the traditional Japanese calendar. The restaurant seeks to minimize food waste while carefully considering the timing of each dish—serving warm dishes warm and cold dishes cold—so that every ingredient is presented at its best moment.
The interior features a pine-wood counter as its centerpiece, creating a refined and restrained space designed to highlight both the cuisine and the chef.
Iwata Design Studio designed the logo mark, business cards, and shop cards.
ロゴについて
About the Logo
ロゴは、店主の父親が書いた筆字を主役に構成。そこに添えるマークと落款を、岩田デザイン事務所がデザインしま した。マークには毘沙門亀甲をアレンジし、「山」の字を忍ばせています。
The logo is built around calligraphy written by the chef’s father.
Iwata Design Studio designed the accompanying emblem and seal mark. The emblem is based on an arrangement of the Bishamon kikkō (a traditional hexagonal pattern) and subtly incorporates the character “山” (mountain).
名刺デザインについて
About the Business Card Design
日本らしい縦書きの手紙をイメージしたレイアウトに。末尾に筆字のロゴ、そして赤い落款が加わることで、手紙の署名を思わせるデザインにしています。
The layout is inspired by the format of a traditional Japanese vertical letter.
The calligraphic logo placed at the end, together with the red seal, evokes the feeling of a handwritten signature.
