震災四年後に東北を取材した記録

震災から４年が過ぎようとする2015年2月に、宮城県、福島県を旅し、現地で見た現実や、地元の人たちのリアルな今の声をルポタージュとしてまとめました。
企画、写真、文、被災者の取材、グラフィックデザインと全般を担当し、WEBマガジン上にて５回にわたって連載しました。

Tohoku: The Affected Areas Today

A record of Tohoku, four years after the earthquake.

In February 2015, nearly four years after the Great East Japan Earthquake, I traveled through Miyagi and Fukushima Prefectures. I compiled the realities I witnessed and the authentic voices of the local people into a reportage series.
I was responsible for the entire project—including planning, photography, writing, interviewing survivors, and graphic design. The series was published in five installments (with some split parts) in a web magazine.

Interviews

震災後、講演、そして被災地ガイド活動を始めを始めた東松島の中井政義さんとお会いし、取材した内容を記事としてまとめています。津波で家も仕事も失った中井さんにとって、講演と被災地ガイド活動は風化させないためのメッセージであり、同時に収入を得るための生業でした。

I met with and interviewed Mr. Masayoshi Nakai from Higashimatsushima, who began giving lectures and working as a guide for the disaster-affected areas following the earthquake. For Mr. Nakai, who lost both his home and his livelihood in the tsunami, these activities served as a vital message to prevent the memory of the disaster from fading, while also serving as his new profession to sustain his livelihood.

In addition to the reportage series published in the web magazine, the photography and interviews conducted over those three days have also been compiled into a series of graphic posters.
